Uber is so evil that... Uber tells pax there's no need to tip, even when the fare is rediculous low at $1/mile Uber charges every rider a $1.00 SRF (Safe Rider Fee) which goes to Uber directly. However, Uber adds SRF onto driver's 1099 at the end of the year. Uber partnered with Santander to sell cars to drivers at ridiculous cost then Uber fares dropped in their markets and Uber deactivated some of these drivers for various reasons, some with no explanation. Uber advertises driver pay as 'up to' 'fares per hr' but driver pay can never reach the 'up to' because driver pay is fares per hour minus the 1st dollar then minus 20-30% Uber Motto is 'we're just a technology company', a great diversion when being evil. Uber says they cut driver's pay, "because we can". But then pretends drivers are Independent Contractors. Driving Uber is like sending your car to a pawn shop. You got the immediate cash but you lose the value of your car.
