Upon arrival at the pick up location, Uber still do not show the destination to the driver. Uber also allow passengers can keep driver waiting in the hot summer day for up to 5 minutes. Most time, driver waited for 5 minutes, passengers hop in the car, started the drive and all of sudden, driver found out it was a $4 short trip. Is it fair to driver? waiting for 5 minutes and rewarded with a $4 fare. Of which, Uber takes $1.60 (40%) and driver gets $2.40 (60%). Remember, drivers pay EVERYTHING for driving. Uber shall let driver know both the pick up and the destination up front. This is a ride sharing. If not going toward the same direction, driver does not need to provide the service and passengers can cancel for free and request another Uber car.
