Why is it that this website (https://www.instantcheckmate.com/register/criminal_records)is allowed to give complete personal information on anybody on the internet, but there is not option to opt out by affected party. Where does Gramm-Leach-Bliley (GLB) Act apply. How is it these online companies can ask the person buying other people information online that they not use the information incorrectly, but this website is allowed to accumulate all this data and release it indiscriminately for a fee to anybody? Why is the FTC and the FCC allowing such sites to operate? When is it going to be shut down and prohibited from disclosing people's personal information? This is just another resource for identity theft and the FTC seems not to be keeping up with these sorts of sites. Who is protecting people's privacy? So thieves and criminals can steal and kill using the information they buy from this website. This is frightening!
