The "Sharing" Economy: Issues Facing Platforms, Participants, and Regulators A Federal Trade Commission Workshop
Hello, As retirees we "dipped our toes" in the sharing economy with Airbnb and we like it. Our home and adjacent cabin are next to famous outdoor recreation sites Lochsa River, Selway River and the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. That gives us a perfect chance to promote Idaho, share our Lewis and Clark History, make new acquaintances, and make a little money, too. At least enough to make improvements otherwise not possible. The State of Idaho has for the most part made it fairly easy to legally do this. I registered, pay my taxes and so on. Trying very hard to know and follow the law. Since the Sharing economy is new, there are some areas the law needs to catch up on. We enjoy sharing a more pioneer lifestyle. It is important human interaction and good for the overall economy. Thank you.
