Dear Federal Trade Commission, I'm writing to tell you about my positive experience as an airbnb host. About a year ago I injured my back and could not work. I have been able to rent my house out on airbnb and continue to make the mortgage payments. This is been a lifesaver! I found it easy to get to know prospective guests before they stayed at my house by using the airbnb web site. It's a very secure and safe way to evaluate who would be staying at my house and my neighborhood before they rent for me. I've made sure to direct my guests to local businesses and restaurants and I think it's made a difference in my area. This opportunity has also allowed me to start another small business involving computer programming and has the potential to be a new career for me that I can do even with my back injury. In closing I just wanted to let you know that air BandB has really helped my personal situation and also businesses in my area Sincerely, Warren Hansen [REDACTED]
