I like Uber because I earn extra money to pay bills, like student loans. I do this also to pay for my children's education. I have heard from my riders they prefer Uber over cabs because they have to wait over an hour just for a cab. By having Uber in FL, it provides an income for many people that my be unemployed, instead of being on unemployment. Uber should be the choice of the consumer, to either take a cab or use Uber. Just like we have the choice on who to vote for during an election. I have taken cabs myself before and I personally hate riding in cabs. Most of the time you have to wait over an hour for a cab, in which I could walk 5 miles home and get home before the cab even gets to were I was. Most cab drivers don't take care of the car they drive, it smells like cigarettes, musty odor, mildew, doors don't open properly, and the cars are damaged from accidents. With Uber it is a personal vehicle that the driver takes care of, because it belongs to them. As I said before most consumers here in FL prefer Uber over cabs and want the choice to have Uber here in FL. Thank you for your time. I would hope that Uber can stay in FL and provide what is best for the consumers.
