"I'm retired but always needed some purposeful employment on a part-time basis, both to sustain myself financially but to also have some contribution to my fellow Floridians. UBER is perfect for both my situation and to the residents of Florida. Our riders are saving 20-40% per ride vs. traditional means. They are also benefitting in time and ease of transportation, as the UBER App is the best thing since sliced bread. They know where the driver is, how long it will take to pick them up and at the end of the ride, no cash involved, hop out of the car. Its done. The business and regular people I've driven have nothing but good things to say about UBER. All the riders say the drivers are better and the cars are better. The Sarasota folks would be very upset if UBER were not able to operate here. Philip T. Carroll, UBER driver since December 2014.
