Uber is the single best thing to have happened to the transportation industry in South Florida! Instead of waiting to find a cab that one, accepted credit cards and two, didn't smell like body odor or cigarette smoke, I can confidently arrange transportation for myself and loved ones within minutes. With Uber I know the identity of the driver, his/her license plate number and exactly what route they take to get to the final destination. On top of all of these benefits, it is significantly more affordable than the outrageous prices charged by taxi cabs. If Uber goes away, I will make it my personal mission to not have any of the politicians currently at the helm, to be reelected and I will never step foot in a taxi cab again if at all avoidable. I'd rather drive myself to the airport, restaurant or activity and pay more in a parking lot than to put a single dollar in the pockets of a taxi cab company; They are corrupt and need to be put out of business.
