"I first learned about Uber from my children and I can honestly say that Uber has been a godsend to the Tampa bay area! I am the mother of 4 children that attend college locally. They, and all of their friends, finally have a safe, affordable, reliable and prompt mode of transportation around town. Millenials are not the only one's using Uber....all ages and all professions absolutely love it and utilize it. I have recently become an Uber driver and I hear these rave reviews firsthand with every single one of my passengers. Not only is Uber promoting safety with their service, but it is also offering affordability and reliability. Safety in that the passenger knows what their driver looks like, knowing he/she has had a background check, their driver's name and their driver's vehicle description. No confusion ever. With passengers having the ability to track the route and arrival of their Uber, they are assured that they will be getting a ride to their destination in a guaranteed, prompt timeframe unlike taxis which can take up to an hour or more, if you can even get through on the phone when calling for one. I have spoken to many friends and relatives in other cities that have Uber and they all love it and feel the same way and are frequent Uber passengers. I am so glad that the time has finally come for an affordable transportation option for our city...especially one that also promotes safety and reliability. I also honestly believe that the number of impaired drivers of all ages on the road has declined since Uber is now an option in the Tampa bay area."
