My fiance and I joined Airbnb in the summer of 2014 and have hosted several guests in the meantime. One guest stayed for more than three months. We are both senior citizens living on a limited amount of income, so the benefits we received through this exchange have definitely made bill-paying easier. We also think Airbnb is also an excellent way to meet new people and gives travelers like us another avenue to explore on our trips. Hotels and motels offer nothing more than a stale environment with a bed and bath, but Airbnb actually puts people in touch with other people, allowing friendships to develop naturally. We have also seen how Airbnb has contributed to the local economy because there are several members on our street. Glenn Davis and Dotty
