Please do not try to regulate something that severs both parties. I was a guest first before I was a host. I live in a small community that the cheapest hotel available in peek seasons is over $200.00 per night. Buy a family renting my home they can afford a vacation and it has allowed us to keep up with our mortgage. I am very particular about my guests and my neighbors and feel that many are the same. The security airbnb, vrbo and flip key provide allows me peace of mind. I have found when I try to dialog with potential renters and there is no response I have limited the potential crooks out there! I could do with with out the security provided by these partners. It is income that is declared on my taxes. Please do not regulate these company's they are doing just fine on their own! Pam Hammett
