Sharing economy Ladies and Gentlemen thank you for this opportunity to address questions about the "sharing economy"! Although the term "sharing economy" is a new one it's actually nothing more than what is existed from time immemorial, people opening up their homes and hosting others for mutual benefits it brings! Caveat emptor "buyer beware" as a consumers we are all familiar with This ancient guideline. As well as laissez-faire, perhaps these to guiding principles should be reinforced through education and nothing more. Rather than mire down a natural process that has developed such as "Airbnb" I think a hands off approach is the best course in action! I would ask your commission, Do no harm to this by adding restrictions and encumbering free trade between private parties. My personal experience as a Airbnb Host has been a tremendous blessing and opportunity! Not without it's struggles at times but overall this relationship with Airbnb as a facilitator is very organic and works well! Please don't try to fix what isn't broken! Thank you H.H.
