Before I joined Uber, I worked for several Cab companies in Jax. Almost 4 years with nothing to show other that two eviction notices. In September of 2013, I traded in my 2004 Taurus, for a town car . I worked on my own for a couple of weeks. It was scary. Then I heard about Uber coming to Jax. I joined Uber in October 2013. Thank God. It was like a dream come true. I put in lots of hours and really worked at it. I made enough money within a period of two months, that which allowed me to put down payment on another Town Car. I then leased that car to one of my Friends. A cab driver that suffered like I did. He now, by the way, and after leasing the car for less than two months, has his own car. I now own 3 Town Cars, and helped 3 other X Cab drivers become Car Owners, and work to support their families. After few months of working with Uber, I no longer needed State Support to feed my family. The question is, why on earth do the State want to stop this opportunity from spreading?"
