I moved to Miami from Toronto last year before uber began in Miami. I do not have a car and the first few months were hell trying to get around this city. The metro rail has proven dangerous for me and does not come close to other transportation systems in other cities. In order for me to go anywhere I had to use cabs which 75% of the time wouldn't show up or if they did it would take forever. I am a manager of a restaurant so I work late. The ability for me to have a safe reliable ride home at 3am is invaluable. Second to that I truly love uber for the ability to have a safe ride home after drinking so I never put anyone else at risk. I use it at work and recommend it to people when I see they are not in a condition to drive. Since uber has come to Miami I can now do things on my days off to better my life: run errands, do activities, see people. The reliabllity, safety, convenience and price point of uber make it invaluable to me in my day to day life and I could not live the way I wanted to without uber"
