"Uber is very important supplemental job for me and my family because it is a supplemental income to my federal appointed retirement monthly benefit. I need and use the extra income that I receive from working the Uber system to help support my family in these tough economic times that the United States are currently facing. I have applied to work in many different organizations, corporations, and independently owned companies and it is my belief that I did not get in any of the open positions that I applied for, because of my age after retirement. Working for Uber allows me to provide a service to the community while being able to work in a safe a pleasurable environment. Should Uber be banned it would again hurt not only my economic standing but that of many other Floridians. Uber is a great company to work with that is fair and professional. It is my hope Uber stays in the State of Florida and is considered an up and rising benefactor of the economy."
