Driving for Uber helps me support my family and my community. Before Uber over the last four years I have drove over a half million miles around Florida.Today I'm driving in Gainesville Fl. where my 3 kids where born and raised. Currently they are living locally and in college, graduating college or getting married. This is home its where I belong. Everyday riders depend on me through uber to provide safe rides in a town known for DUI's rape and murder of its students. I've lived through it all wondering how can these problems be addressed, not just for students but also the locals wanting to stay safe. Riders have told me many heartbreaking stories of loved ones killed involving DUI's and jail time for family members convicted of manslaughter. Now everyday driver's like me hear how Uber has changed their life by providing safe reliable and seamless rides for their community.
