I inherited a property on Salisbury Beach. That in itself sounds great but I am middle income and beach property comes with incremental taxes and payments over regular property. The first year I had the property I used craigs list and vrbo to rent the property but still had many weeks open particulary in the winter. The tenants that i got from Craigs list ended up damaging the units and i decided it was best to leave it empty. When i discovered airbnb, i was able to make the property pay for itself. It seems like a win win situation for both the renters and the landlord and the the units are left in good condition after departure and this has really helped with peace of mind as i was never sure what to expect after departure n the past. I don't have to worry about going to court for unpaid rent or damage issues with these airbnb people as the way the company and website works offers built in controls that didn't exist previously. I can trust that this site works with good honest people keeping all honest in fact due to the nature of the tools that the company employs on its site. Should someone be a problem, either a landlord or a renter, it will be out there for all to see and will affect future renting possibilities. I am asking the this airbnb platform continue to exist for all. Thank you.
