Being Airbnb hosts has been a very positive experience in many ways. It has had a measurable economic benefit to us, allowing us to make ends meet, pay off debt, and improve our lifestyle in many ways. Airbnb has made the program very user friendly and has very good tools in place to keep both hosts and guest safe and secure. We also know our guests impact the local economy by shopping, eating out, attending local events, etc. The positive experience of meeting new people from all over the country and world is difficult to quantify but is clearly very important and enriching. Sharing your home and local community with visitors fosters better understanding and tolerance which can only make the world a better place to live for us all.
