So the international community will not just know us by San Francisco Bay Area in addition City of Sunnyvale is the heart of Silicon Valley through this sharing economy. I have been a home owner and Airbnb host since 2011. I rent out my property to help supplement my income and help put my sons through college. I particularly enjoy being a host on Airbnb because the website attracts professional business travelers and people who have families in Sunnyvale. Almost all of them are tech savvy from all over the world. For example, I am hosting 4 student friends who will be interning at Google, Yahoo, CISCO and Qualcomm. They will spend 3 months renting my Sunnyvale property. During that time, I'm sure they will be contributing to our economy including purchasing day to day living items from our stores, going out to eat at our local restaurants, and spending money on weekend entertainment activities. In the past, I had the great pleasure hosting Stanford professors from Germany, Norway and Paypal company executives from Russia. All of these activities, will help contribute to our Sunnyvale city and make a vibrant neighborhood. I always feel totally comfortable with my guests because we had been already exchange communications prior to their arrival, and Airbnb is doing a good job to validate and verify each person in their community. So these people are not total strangers to me upon their arrival. Please continue to allow us to connect the city of Sunnyvale to the rest of the world by Hosting travelers using the Airbnb website.
