To Whom it May Concern, I have been an "airbnb" host since 2011. I can't say enough on how this Company has made it possible for me to remain a homeowner. I was born with Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy and receive both SSDI & a very modest pro-rated Government pension. My "late" Father was buried in Arlington National Cemetery(59-4423)and in his Will left his beautiful Santa Fe style home to me. I would simply be in "survival mode" if I had only the two Government resources, and would be forced to sell the home I love. I have a small mortgage, taxes, Insurance, and HOA fees. These expenses would be too much for me since I was forced to retire early due to my illness. However, with airbnb I am able to keep my home, and do so under the allowable $1,090.00 per month of "earned income" that I am allowed to supplement my SSDI and pension. I have enjoyed the international contact I get on a regular basis and when I am not well enough, I 1099 local young people to help me. This option of airbnb has really been a "God Send" for me and has made it possible to maintain the lifestyle that I have been accustomed to while contributing to the local economy. Sincerely, Mr. Robert Estrada Sr.
