The "Sharing" Economy: Issues Facing Platforms, Participants, and Regulators A Federal Trade Commission Workshop
I own a condo in downtown Atlanta, GA. I have been a host for airbnb for over 3 years. I have NEVER had one bad apple as a guest. In fact, I have only had great people who are kind, considerate and clean stay at my home. I have actually made lasting friendships with some of them. I also use Uber often and the same positive experiences have occurred. The sharing economy is a bellwether event we never anticipated but it makes lots of sense: it underpins the entrepreneurial spirit that made America great and it connects people in a positive way that virtually no other event does (except church and school.) Please turn an open mind to ensuring that the sharing economy flourishes. Sally Ringo 404-660-4049
