As the dinamicity of the economy goes, there is always new ways that the market, by itself, finds. One of these 'new' activities is about sharing; car sharing has been around for a long time but found new ways to be dealt with; housing sharing is in its great metamorphosis right now. In that context, AirBnB, for example, is doing a magnificent job in uniting both sides of this trend and bringing a significant human improvement in sociological relations which has reflected into an economic spectrum that can't be ignored since local businesses (mainly small farmers since my BnB is an organic one) can feel the resonance of the local economy. In my particular case, it is bringing resources from all over the world into this (once) depressed area and that money stays here local.
