In support of the sharing economy and companies like Airbnb, we would like to add our voices. Airbnb and other companies like them have made it possible for us to provide additional income to support our middle class lifestyle. Costs of goods and services are steadily rising and having the ability to easily rent out a portion of our home has made our lives much easier. With safeguards Airbnb's provides to screen potential guests, we are able to safely rent our space as well as get to know the people that choose to stay with us. Guests who stay us and others also generate local economic activity and here in Austin, that means a lot. They want to visit the city but are looking for a more personal place to stay and we are able to provide this, with the extra space we have since our children moved away. In addition, we pay taxes on our rentals further aiding our local economy. Middle class America needs companies like Airbnb and others! Helps us keep it and make it even better. Thanks, Robert and Inge williams
