I utilize Airbnb to host my vacation rental in Florida. I rent my entire condo on both a short and/or long-term basis. Airbnb is over half of my revenue, and I would not be able to pay my bills without this revenue. I list my condo on multiple large listing sites. Airbnb is far superior in their concern and commitment to the guests and hosts. I had a situation arise where my guest could not access the condo. They gave me one hour to provide access before they would refuse payment. I thought this was fair and impartial. I was able to meet this deadline, but they were available to both the guests and me, as the host, throughout the process. Airbnb promotes small business and local economies through their service offering, and I hope the committee sees the benefits, as well. Please do not deny owners/hosts such as myself these services from Airbnb. Thanks.
