I use airbnb to do vacation rentals for a house my dad owns. Before that, he was using an agency in the town to do the same thing. The agency gave him only minimal business, but airbnb is bringing him ten times more guests. I strongly believe that if you own a house, you should be allowed to rent it out, long term rentals, short term rentals, live in it, live in it with tenants-- because it's YOUR HOUSE. Why should the government tell you who gets to stay in and/or live in your house?
