I am a 68 yr old retired Microbiologist and bought a home in the mountains adjacent to the Cache La Poudre river. White water rafting, fly fishing, many beautiful hiking trails and amazing wildlife. The first level of the home is a complete apartment with private entrance. I am able to host one couple or couple with 2 children. I opened in October of 2014. I have hosted parents of local College students that want to cook Thanksgiving dinner for their student and spend some quality time. I have had lots of people from about 20 different states that want a peaceful, quite, trip to write, compose music, paint. I have met some of the most amazing people of all ages and life styles. They have complete privacy but I am available for any thing they need or information about the adventures in the area. [REDACTED] We are overwhelmed with the doctor and hospital bills. If all I had was Social Security we would be losing our beautiful home. As a Microbiology lab supervisor for 40years, I was not sure what retirement would bring other than possibly depression as I loved my work so much. Air BnB has been amazing. I feel I now have the biggest purpose ever and love hosting some of the greatest people I have ever met from all over the USA and Canada, so far. I purchase local fresh baked breads, fruit, OJ, trail mix not to mention the furnishings and linens necessary to keep the accommodations fresh and seasonal. If entrepreneurs can start any business in their garage and become millionaires what is the harm in my having a guest that helps me with mounting medical bills. If you look at my site and read my reviews you will see that I offer a unique service/vacation for all types of people.
