I love being an airbnb host and also traveling using airbnb. In the communty where one of my airbnb sites is, there is no other place to stay if someone comes to town to attend a wedding, see a new baby or visit family. I provide that. I love getting to know people in the privacy of my own home and enjoy sharing what i have created over the years- good cooking, a beautiful yard, peace. AT my other site i inexpensively offer multiple people a place to stay, cook, relax and easily access public transportation. When i travel i like meeting real people in the places i visit, it's warmer, friendlier than the nicest of hotels. Yes, it adds a bit of money to my income and that's nice but it is not my primary motivation. I like sharing. Linda
