The "Sharing" Economy: Issues Facing Platforms, Participants, and Regulators A Federal Trade Commission Workshop
After my husband died of ALS, I was left with a great house with some handicap accessibilities. Rather than return to a workforce I had left to care for him, I decided to open my home to visitors with some mobility issues, as well as "normal-capped" (VS handicapped) travellers as well. I have enjoyed providing safety and comfort to travellers from around the world. I upgraded the 150 year old house with the required fire and CO detectors, and I feel much safer for it. I am also proud to be fully inspected, licensed, and insured, and I am happy to collect and pay the lodging taxes required in this state.
