Sharing economy: Using Airbnb helped pay the mortgage, rent, medical bills, or just make ends meet. It is using space in your house that would ordinarily not be used when your children move out to College. I have not had any trust,& safety because of Airbnb's support, and messaging tools. Airbnb is the wave of the future, something my children suggested as they us this site when traveling. I live on an island where the cost of living is very expensive, and the community already has a system in place asking people to open their house if they have extra space. Airbnb is an important option for middle class families in America to earn extra money, and tracks any income to IRS, in otherwords a win win situation for everyone. My Airbnb listing generates sustainable, local economic activity that supports the small businesses in our communities who otherwise would not come to our Island. Look at what has happens in Cuba related to Airbnb.
