Dear Federal Trade Commission, I write this to share my story about how having the opportunity to have my business with Airbnb has made a huge difference in my life concerning being able to make ends meet. Airbnb gives to us a safe and protected tool for both the guest and host to make this happen. My husband and I have made a living for over 35 years in the music business here in Nashville, Tn. So much has changed concerning how the "sharing" of music leaves us with much less income than we used to get. It was a God send to be able to open our home to have guest enjoy our beautiful city. It has also allowed us to help our local business by referring our guest to their business. It's a win win! We have also gotten some work from our guest at my husbands recording studio with people coming and seeing the place, they will sometimes book it to do some recording. It also provides a unique experience for the guest themselves, to see the "inside" workings through the eyes of locals. It has helped us with our livelihood and maintaining our expenses basically "pay our bills". I don't know what we would of done had me not been able to utilize this option. It has been the answers to our prayers. Most sincerely, Dania and Jay Vernali
