My 2 units property has been in 2 different foreclosures from 2 different lenders. My second loan, hard money, auctioned my property. The property went for sale in front of the court house steps!!! 10 minutes late may property was gone, I had to file bankruptcy to be able to save the property... Can you imagine that? If you can't please pause and do so. After 18 years of marriage and being a house wife this property is all I have got. I could manage to modify my first loan but from November my interest rate every year will go 1% higher. My tax is getting higher as well. Wanted to down size and move to my studio but Soviet Monica, Santa Monica, rent control told my tenant the landlord should give you $8000 something for your relocation fee! Obviously I do not have the $8000. Any time I am trying to open a door I face a wall. I pay more tax than what I live on! I had to file a bankruptcy to be able to save my property, with a bankruptcy I can't even get a loan/refinance or...I am trapped from all directions Thank to Aibnb! Getting people from Airbnb almost covers my 2nd loan. Whit out their existance I can imagine I could not survive holding on to my livelihood. Also people that come from Airbnb are the nicest people I have met. Some times I feel if something good wants to happen for some people, there is always some other group that likes to come and destroy it for them.
