Yes, we support the share economy. We own our vacation rental and use it as an income. We also like to give tourists the opportunity to choose a better living environment than a motel. Some people gravitate to motels and others can afford vacation rentals. This is a free will universe and on this level of sharing, policy makers have no business interfering. The airb&b and other vacation rentals also promote connections between locals and tourists. By hosting a rental the tourists feels very well looked after. The airb&b site has all the tools and buttons for people to check out their vacation rental and feel they have safety in their transactions. We ourselves would use such rentals if we were to travel, but we also use local motels cause they are right there when our itinerary is not so sure. Quality of life improves when people get to do their own business, keep it that way. We don't need corporate America to take over. Unless the Chinese are ready to come on in and boot you all out anyway. That would be a disaster in and of itself. Americans for Americans! Face to face in sharing. Building trust and personal relationships. Not just everything incognito and in fear.
