Being an AirBnB host has allowed me to earn extra money, which helps pay my mortgage. I am a new homeowner, and the costs of owning a home were more than I was expecting. I am unable to take on another job, so I am grateful to have the opportunity to utilize the extra space in my home, and turn that into a source of income. This has given me a tremendous opportunity to save money, put away money for retirement, and travel around the U.S. to see cities I have never been able to visit (and I would not be able to visit without AirBnB) I am also able to meet people from around theworld, and share my amazing city with them. People who may not have been able to afford a hotel (since they average about $100 more per night than staying with me). This helps boost the economy of my neighborhood, and the local small business owners that set up shop here. AirBnB has created amazing opportunities for me as a host and a traveler.
