We use AirBnB to rent the home our daughter was struggling to pay for when she began spemding 5 nights a week at her grandmothers house. The limitation of her time limited the additional hours she could work to cover the bills. She plans to return to the house and finish her schooling when her failing grandmother no longer needs her. In the meantime, we did not want to put her furniture in storage or tie up the house with 12 month leasing. AirBnB of the property provides us with a vehicle to break even and preserve her home while she sacrifices her own time to contribute to the care of her grandmother. As her parents, we already owned the house and carried a landlord policy on the property. AirBnB contract and additional liability coverage provide the means to support the transaction safely and responsibly.
