Airbnb provides those with extra space to rent to others. It is a great way to connect the demand to supply that may otherwise be unused. I believe that airbnb for completely vacant spaces that are not occupied or second homes or vacation homes should be regulated separately from those that share/rent occupied spaces. While I think Airbnb should be regulated to promote safety of the customers and the suppliers as well as prevent rising rental costs from developers or owners that are renting vacant spaces. There should be a benefit for those that renting already occupied shared spaces.
