The Airbnb sharing platform has been an extremely valuable experience for me. I just bought my house in July 2014 and graduated with my MBA in May 2015. Airbnb has helped me pay my mortgage, make necessary improvements on my home and soon, help me pay for my masters. I live in an area that isn't in a great economic state, but very close to Boston's Logan Airport. Airbnb has allowed me to suggest restaurants, convenience stores and site seeing areas in my local community. I also make suggestions for the city of Boston. Many of the individuals and families who stay with me cannot afford hotels in the area, and the hotels they can afford may require a vehicle to get anywhere or extensive public transportation, so this is quite helpful for my guests as well.
