Without Airbnb I would have lost my home. I am retired and my social security is not enough to make ends meet with the rising costs of food, fuel, utilities, etc. I feel very safe using them, they check the people out beforehand and I can pick and choose who stays here. I have had some wonderful guests. I like that I do not have someone here all the time, I do not want a border. This way I can meet interesting people from all over the world. I also like that they handle the reservations and finances and send me tax forms at the end of the year. There are rumors that the government wants to get involved with this, if it works, why mess it up. I think as long as we pay taxes on the monies we earn, that should be enough.
