FTC To Host Workshop on Cross-Device Tracking Nov. 16
I consider tracking from my devices the most insidious of invasion of privacy issues. I know that each time I go to a website, cookies are installed. I would have no problem going into my "cookies file" and deleting those I don't want, however not only are there thousands of cookies to deal with, their identifying titles are impossible to denote. If only the titles were easily discerned, the public would have an easier time of guarding against the cookies that sneak into our computers. COOKIES NEED TO HAVE A CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD NAME OR OTHER IDENTIFIER TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR THE USER TO SELECT IT AND DELETE IT.
