AirBNB and Uber are examples of 'exploitive' businesses, in that if they actually paid the cost of doing business their profits would shrink, or possibly disappear. An example is Uber, and the fact that approx. 90% of the costs of local roads are paid for via General Taxes. So if Uber had to pay a true representation of their impact on using those local roads (i.e. if only Gas Taxes were used rather than ANY General Funds) they would lose a large portion of their profits.
