These Robocallers are ignoring the National Do Not Call Register. It is a joke to them. I had one calling me numerous times a day for months. Not answering is not a solution either! I went on line to see what others were doing to stop them, other than simply not answering the phone. The Telephone Company's SIT Tones (Special Information Tones) can be downloaded from numerous sites. Add these first three tones to your answering message and inform others who call you about this. This does indeed work! When the robodialer called again, I lifted the hand recorder to the phone and played the whole "this number is no longer in service" SIT. It has been a week and a half and I have not heard from them. As technology advances daily, this will merely be a temporary fix. Laws need to be passed to outlaw robocalls and telephone soliciting in general. Thank you.
