16 CFR Part 306; Automotive Fuel Ratings, Certification and Posting; Project No. R811005
Even the EPA has acknowledged that E-15 products will damage small engines, such as motorcycle engines. Simply labeling a gas pump will not be sufficient to prevent the owners of small engine products from mistakenly fueling their equipment with E-15. If the Commission insists on supporting the introduction of E-15 to the marketplace, it should at the very least issue a rule that E-15 product may only be dispensed from a separate nozzle at a gas pump in the same manner as diesel fuel is dispensed. Thank you.
