Program Assessment Rating Tool (PART) assessment results: In early February, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) published the results of the FTC’s recent Program Assessment Rating Tool (PART) assessment. The PART has been developed by OMB to assess how well federal agencies and programs are performing. In its first evaluation, the Commission was rated “Effective,” the highest rating an agency can achieve. According to OMB criteria, programs rated effective set ambitious goals, achieved results, are well-managed, and improve efficiency. The FTC’s PART results can be found at: http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/expectmore/summary/10003816.2006.html.
