The Federal Trade Commission will host a public forum to review the "do-not-call" provision of the FTC's Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR). The "do-not-call" provision prohibits sellers or telemarketers from calling persons who have previously stated that they do not wish to be called. This will be the first in a series of public forums that the FTC will hold as it embarks on a year-long review of the TSR.

What: FTC Public Forum on "Do-Not-Call" Provision of the TSR
When: January 11, 2000 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
