Event Description

COVID-19 has led to a variety of consumer protection issues, and the pandemic continues to have a large financial impact on people in every community. To help people find accurate and reliable information in their communities, the Western Region San Francisco Office, and the Colorado Attorney’s General Office, are jointly hosting a virtual listen and learn session with legal services organizations, consumer advocates, state and local law enforcement, and other community groups. Participants will discuss the consumer and financial issues that people in Arizona, California, and Colorado are facing, how groups are reaching their audiences during the pandemic, and FTC and other helpful resources. Commissioner Rohit Chopra and Colorado Attorney General Philip Weiser will provide opening remarks.
