To make a long story short

In Short: Advertising and Privacy Disclosures in a Digital World — an FTC workshop to discuss guidance on disclosures in the online and mobile world — is set for May 30, 2012.  This is the latest development in the ongoing conversation about revising the FTC’s 2000 guidance publication, Dot Com Disclosures.

The In Short agenda suggests it’s going to be a thought-provoking day.  After an introductory presentation on usability research, the first panel will set the stage with a discussion about advertising disclosures.  The next segment will drill down to consider disclosures in social media.  The third panel will focus on disclosures on mobile devices and the day will end with a conversation about mobile privacy disclosures.
