FTC SENDS CHECKS TO PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT SYNOVIA
The FTC is sending a second round of checks to people who bought Synovia, a supplement advertised and sold by A.S. Research, LLC as a treatment for arthritis and joint pain.
The FTC alleged that A.S. Research made misleading health claims and used phony testimonials to promote Synovia. The FTC also alleged that the company told people that they had to pay extra for a better version of Synovia, when in fact all purchasers received the same product.
The FTC first sent checks for this matter in December 2020. Because there is still money in the fund, the FTC is sending a second check to people who cashed their first check and paid the defendants $120 or more.
If you get a check, please cash it within 90 days.
