This will confirm our telephone conversation on May 29, 1986. The Premerger Notification Office has confirmed that there is no premerger notification filing requirement in connection with the reorganization of (redacted). As we discussed, I enclose a redacted version of our interpretation request, from which we have deleted the specific names and in which we have substituted non-specific terms for (redacted). Please let me know if the Office needs some further input from us regarding protecting the confidentially of the May 15 request.
Obviously, we would appreciate a response to the other requests for informal rulings made by our office many weeks ago.
