PACT WILL PROVIDE REFUNDS TO AFFECTED CUSTOMERS
Pact Inc. has agreed to pay more than $940,000 in refunds and cash rewards as part of a settlement with the FTC. The company’s mobile app promised to give cash rewards to people who met their fitness and nutritional goals, and charge a penalty to users who didn’t meet their goals. According to the FTC, the company charged many people wrongfully even when they met their goals or after they cancelled the service, and did not provide the promised rewards.
As part of the settlement, Pact was required to send an email to people who may be eligible for a refund by October 7, 2017. If you got a notice, please apply for a refund by clicking on the link in the email, or going to www.pactapp.com/refunds. You have until November 2, 2017 to request a refund.
