FTC Sends full refunds to people who bought Nobetes
The FTC is mailing 398 checks totaling $60,791 to people who bought “Nobetes,” a dietary supplement advertised as a treatment for diabetes. According to the FTC, the sellers of Nobetes claimed that their supplement could treat diabetes and reduce the need for insulin, but these statements were false or were not substantiated by scientific evidence.
