The company’s name is MOBE – pronounced Mōb, not Moby – but according to a lawsuit filed by the FTC, the defendants tell quite a fish story to the consumers they hook with money-making promises.

The nine corporations and three individuals named in the complaint sell “business education” products through web ads, direct mail, and live events. (MOBE stands for “My Online Business Education.”) The defendants claim to have a “simple 21-Step” system consumers can implement to make substantial income “without creating your own products” and “without dealing with customers.” Pitching a “master plan to massive paydays with ease,” they promise that “average people with no prior experience online are depositing $1,250, $3,300, and even $5,500 commissions ” into their bank accounts “on auto-pilot.”

When consumers visit the defendants’ website, they’re taken to a registration page for the 21-Step System, which the defendants initially offer for $49 or less. But that’s just the start. The 21-Step system turns out to be a series of videos. The initial ones offer vague teases about “funnels that have paid out millions and millions of dollars in commissions to people just like you who went through this training” and assurances that later steps will reveal the “secret” method for generating substantial income online. Ultimately, the defendants explain that the “missing ingredient” to making money through the MOBE system is to buy additional tiered memberships and then earn commissions by getting other people to sign up with MOBE, too. According to the defendants, the higher the membership, the greater the commission. Just how pricy are those upper-level memberships? The “Gold Masterclass” costs consumers $4,997 while the “Diamond Mastermind” sets people back a staggering for $29,997.

According to the complaint, the defendants encourage people to place their own social media ads, create websites, use copy-and-paste emails, and record testimonials to get others to sign up for MOBE. They also sell members add-on products – like the email addresses of people likely to buy business opportunities. In addition, the defendants repackage their “system” and sell it under other names. According to one ad, consumers can “discover how a poisoned, brain-damaged man … RAKES IN A 6-FIGURE INCOME FROM HOME AND HOW YOU CAN TOO, GUARANTEED.” (The … and the ALL CAPS are in the original ad.) They also market the “Patriot Funnel System” with the promise that people will “DISCOVER THE SHOCKING $97,337 SECRET A WAR VET UNCOVERED FROM HIS SWEAT-BOX ROOM IN AFGHANISTAN.” The pitch to older consumers and retirees is a so-called “Surefire Way to Create a Six-Figure Retirement Income in Less Than 12 Months.”

But regardless of how the defendants package the system online or at live events, the FTC alleges that the primary thing MOBE sells is more MOBE memberships. As a result, the FTC says that very few people – if anybody – achieved the advertised results and that many consumers found themselves in an even deeper financial hole. That should come as no surprise to the defendants, who themselves admitted in a buried fine-print hyperlink that the “average Consultant, which includes both active and inactive members, generates less than $250 per year.”

What about buyers who want to take the defendants up on their prominent “100% risk-free” promise that “We Guarantee You’ll Be Satisfied With Your Course and Coaching In 30 Days, Or We’ll Happily Give You Your Money Back”? According to the complaint, the defendants often failed to honor their refund policy or imposed onerous hoops through which dissatisfied consumers had to jump.

Filed in federal court in Florida, the lawsuit challenges the defendants’ earnings claims and refund representations. The Judge issued an ex parte temporary restraining order against principals Matthew Lloyd McPhee (in most MOBE promotions, he goes by Matt Lloyd), Susan Zanghi, and Russell W. Whitney, Jr.; MOBE Ltd.; and eight related corporations. But even at this initial stage, this case – and other recent FTC actions challenging allegedly deceptive money-making promises – suggests that people interested in supplementing their income should be on alert.

Small business owners or others interested in additional earnings are wise to be wary of “systems” that promise substantial passive cash, especially when the system depends on selling others the same “opportunity.” When promoters claim to have the “secret” to making big bucks online, the needle on your malarkey-ometer should be in the red zone. The FTC has free resources to consult before sinking cash into a purported money-making venture.

MOBE changed my life in a positive way. I was a complete novice two years ago. The community and culture was like nothing I'd ever experienced. I got a chance to travel around the world. I've met people and established some great relationships. People from all corners of the world I probably would have never met. The focus is always about how to help people be successful. Not just with Internet Marketing but in all areas of your life and financial life. Success is not guaranteed in any field or endeavor. What I can control is my determination, effort, and focus with a goal to be successful. All the courses and training gave me the know how. It's up to me to work and produce results.

To Whom This May Concern: I have learned SO much about starting and operating my own business profitably in my short time with MOBE. So much so, that I’ve taken a domain name that I’ve had for over 2 years and done nothing with, to launching and marketing my New Dream Business to the world! I first joined MOBE due to an injury, when I realized that relying on my body (I run a gym) is not very smart long-term. My man’s back is also giving into his very physical career, so both of us have learned a very hard lesson about needing to develop our minds, and we’re so much happier now! What I’ve learned has truly benefitted me, among countless others, and I’ve created new and lasting friendships, and have been exposed to what freedom actually feels like. America is supposed to be about freedom, yes? And I choose to be free with the knowledge and know-how that I have acquired through MOBE. I beg you, please release the action against MOBE, for my health and for my future. Thank you very much for your assistance! To your success, Jessica Young Happy mentoree and business owner NewDreamBusiness.com

Wow and here I thought it was just me and my ADD and focus issues. At the ($497.00) "Home Business Summit" in Portland, OR January 2018, I, like the other people there was shown how great MOBE was and how they had all the answers to earn substantial income by just following their 'system'. most the work was 'Done for You' already and all we need to do is... get more customers to the MOBE opportunity from posting advertisements on-line, mail, email. The presenter was telling/showing how we could get money by maxing out credit cards and then using key words and applying for a new card for more credit at a different bank (reminded me of robbing Peter to pay Paul). they also offered financing to get more money to buy more expensive memberships to would give higher return on the people you brought into MOBE. After talking to the rep Cheyenne and asking "what about my A.D.D., focus and understanding issues and that I tend to need a little extra help to catch on" she assured me, that if I need to reach out to her she'd help, some. And after the pressured importance of joining at the higher memberships, I decided to go from Silver ($2,500.00) to Titanium ($13,997.00) with a guarantee of money back. Later, after the many hours of studying and trying to learn a lot of information, my traffic coach (which I did like and appreciate) informed me that she had to pass me on to a new traffic coach, because she was being placed as a mentor for MOBE. This is to long and getting me more frustrated, sorry. Bottom line... NOT one dollar made in 4 1/2 months! Not getting the help needed. Just being told to follow the tapes and information.

To: The FTC taking action against MOBE and to the Honourable Judge presiding over the case My name is Peter Tham from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I paid for and ordered the Silver Masterclass Package that came bundled together with a Gold Masterclass Package in 27th March 2017, paying a total of USD2,497.00 for the packages I registered for a free 2 hours IM Freedom Workshop in Kuala Lumpur in early 2017 where I was introduced with an overview of how Affiliate Internet Marketing works and during the IM Freedom Worshop a 3 days Internet Marketing Training that costs USD997 was introduced. I did not register for the 3 day training. However I was enrolled into their 21 steps online training with a USD49 value that I was given for free as a reward for attending the 2 hour workshop earlier. Mid way through the 21 steps training I was introduced to the Silver Masterclass Package which I bought, paying a total of USD2,497.00. There was no coercion to buy the Silver Masterclass Package, I bought it voluntarily. Of course I was presented with strong recommendations to buy the Silver Masterclass but I can choose not to buy, and I won’t be penalised in anyway. Even if I have not bought the USD2,497 Silver Masterclass, I would be allowed to continue the remainder of the 21 steps lessons and be given additional 30 lessons on Traffic Mastery. I have not made any money in MOBE except for a USD49 sale of the 21 steps lessons to one of my friends who wanted to learn an overview of internet marketing. I find the Silver Masterclass and the Gold Masterclass lessons to be useful and of value to a person who wants to learn how to start a business, whether online or offline. I learned the mindset to be successful in business as well as important lessons and methods of doing business in general and internet marketing specifically among other things. The lessons are invaluable and value for money. There is no such thing as an overnight success and I plan to put the lessons I learned into my own business. I have not recouped my investment in more than a year since joining MOBE and I do not blame MOBE for it. I paid for and got value from the Silver Masterclass and Gold Masterclass lessons and I am happy to receive those lessons. They are value for the USD2,497 I invested. I learned more from MOBE than the thousands of dollars that I paid other internet marketing trainers prior to joining MOBE in my journey to learn internet marketing. I appeal to the judge to lift the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) and let me access to my lessons at MOBE back office. I paid for and am entitled to my products that are now un-accessible to me because of the TRO due to the FTC actions against MOBE. Whatever action taken to correct misrepresentation, or errors done by MOBE, I wish to put on record that they are consumers like me who join MOBE to have access to their digital educational products and I want my rights to have access to those products. Please give me access to my products. Thanking you in anticipation. Yours faithfully, Peter Tham A MOBE Consumer from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

...and those whom have invested in this... ...are they to be compensated for the lost revenue, time (time is money, you know), and effort put in to making a go of this (without much success)? As it stands right now, approximately $52,000.00 was invested (including advertising, email setup, hosting account, domain name, etic.) in this. There was a $3,000.00 return, but that still leaves another $49K. There is another stream that it could be invested into, but paying the debt incurred by this first would be the primary goal. I'm sure there are others that have invested even more and had gotten even less, but that is just more of a reason to reimburse those who did invest in this with nearly nothing (if anything) for a roi. You may want to note that the claim is also there is a sales team made up of some of the best in the world to "make the sale for you." but they really only try to get the client/customer to do their part for them while they rake in a "sales team commission" for it.

I will try to be brief in describing how I fell prey, hooked up and ripped off by Matt Lloyd and MOBE. I am a warehouse worker and what I know is how to load and unload trucks. I don’t have experience with computers and I don’t like sales. That is what I answered when I was screened. “You don’t need computer experience. You know how to turn on and off a computer, right? This is all you need. It is not about sales at all. You don’t have to talk to customers. You just have to work at home in your computer at your own pace three to five hours every day. You will be your own boss. You don’t worry. We will teach you how.” But I don’t have that kind of money. “How much do you have in the bank? Do you have 401K, do you have credit cards, can you borrow from friends or family? do you have good credit? OK, we will “help” you to get the cash through a lender”. When they gave me the loan application to sign I noticed it was for 50K. I told them that it was a lot of money, I wouldn’t think they would approve that line of credit and how in the world I was going to pay? “Oh, You need to position yourself to the highest level from the very beginning to get a substantial income in commissions, almost on autopilot. In 2-3 months you will be making enough cash to pay the loan and re-invest in the system. I was approved for only 40K. It took me 35 years to build a good credit record. In membership fees and service fees, MOBE pilferage 35K. You could see the greediness voraciousness to make the sale on me I was deceived, scammed and ripped off by MOBE and CEO Matt Lloyd. They fail to deliver what they promised. They lied to me. They failed to tell me that it was not a one-time investment, that it was an ongoing investing. They misled me and made me believe I would make a substantial income. They took advantage of my ignorance, my “stupidity “ and good faith. When I started promoting, my coach told me I had to buy “traffic”. I didn’t know what was that. Anyway, he offered me traffic packages called “We sell good traffic” varying from 5K to 10K depending on if they were “highly targeted” and from English speaking countries. Where am I going to get the cash from if MOBE ripped me off all the money? Of course, I couldn’t afford it. It was like a mockery of me. I had to resource to the traffic market that they also swindle me. It is like a mafia. MOBE and Matt Lloyd shipwrecked my life. “I paid several thousands of dollars on the promise that MOBE would teach me how to launch my online business and generate substantial income. it was totally false and misleading. I did everything I was asked to do by the coaches, followed their teachings to the letter and put much more hours than I was putting in the warehouse job. They said to have a proven MTTB 21 steps system for making money quickly and easily through internet marketing, which they commit to teach those who pay to join their program. Since I did not have the cash they offered me the service of getting me the money through Oak Tree Financing as Flexmark Capital. MOBE got me into huge debt with credit cards on the promise I would start generating sufficient income in 2-3 months to pay debt and re-invest more money into the system. They promised a coach in USA but I was assign one couch in Scotland. I had many communication problems because of the different time schedules. Later they assign another coach in USA. He asked 2k dollars to continue the training. I paid hoping I would start making money soon. I was led to believe that the continuation of the program was MOBE’s but it was not. It was the coaches. He deceived me and sold me his program without I even knowing it. I was assigned another couch in Australia. None of these coaches couched me as I was promised. We had calls but just talking but nothing worthwhile that justified the investment. The support materials like audio and online videos were very poor and very low quality to justify the huge investment like the “ Traffic Master Academy” program. The MOBE affiliates were recorded teaching the material. It seemed they knew the subject but they didn’t have the techniques and skills to teach. It looked like they just red a script. Once the coaching sessions exhausted, 5 or 6, you have to pay Couch or Mentor sessions that cost thousands of dollars. As you can see the pilferage and bleeding went on and on. The MOBE SITES platform to build the marketing funnels was always inoperative. Since I was already in, I had to resource to another Company’s platforms to do the marketing. I had to pay several thousand dollars more to try to make it work and start seeing some return of investment which I never did. MOBE even mislead us into believing that the MOBE program was risk-free and guaranteed in terms they can get your money back if not satisfied. The only one making that kind of money is Matt Lloyd and his “handpicked privileged” to the point they can afford to buy Real State in Fiji, Malaysia, and Costa Rica. Time went by, I did not make the promised income. I made zero dollars. I couldn’t keep up with the credit cards payments so I went bankruptcy and I am in the verge of losing my house. To those that say we are lazy and we are not working hard enough, putting the required work and expecting MOBE do the work for us, you lie, you talk like Mike Lloyd when brought this issue to his attention: “ You are lazy and losers” How many Master Minds events you have gone? You need to rub shoulders with the big figure earners to learn from them”. How in the world am I going to pay to go to these exotic places if I was ripped off and this 21 steps MTTB system does not work as promised? I have been trying to make this MOBE business work for almost 2 years putting more than 8-10 hours a day and have made ZERO money. I was better off in my warehouse job. I hope I can get the money back to pay the credit cards. I remain to further clarify, answer questions, testify and show evidence of my saying.

:( unfortunately ... so many stories like yours. I am so sorry Cesar. I only lost $690. Which now seems like I at least came out of it in luckier. All those claims you say they made, they made them to me too. I am not understanding those that say it is all above board. Than main push I REALLY recall is all the pressure to try and get more credit out of the banks. We spent a whole day going over that with a prize going to the 'winner' who was able to get the most credit by the next day. Crazy wrong!

I just started MOBE and I have nothing but the best of things to say about them. They are dedicated to their clients and their trainees. I was granted access right away and was proceeding very nicely with my coach. Everyone affiliated with MOBE is absolutely amazing, Matt, the coaches, you are all so wonderful! You have all gone above and beyond and I want to thank everyone from MOBE for everything you do.I really hope that MOBE opens up again and we can all have our tools back to be successful in life.

What a bunch of sheep. Everyone whining about how they "scammed" you out of $3,000 (or whatever)...where's your own personal responsibility? No one put a gun to your head and forced you to buy an educational course. No one reached in your pocket and took money away without your permission. That's the problem with the whiners and complainers who claim to want to be entrepreneurs but who are really just sheep. They're still throwing off all the responsibility for their own choices on someone else. If MOBE sold you something and it wasn't significantly "not as described" that's a different matter. If MOBE refused to honor their own refund policies , that's a problem. If MOBE sold products and didn't deliver them, then I understand the complaint. But a bunch of wannapreneurs who are crying online, "Waah....waah....I willingly pulled out my credit card, received what I paid for but didn't make get rich in my own business"? No, you didn't get scammed. You're just angry that you didn't get to make money in MOBE like other people did! Richard For the record, I'm not involved in MOBE. I've never been affiliated with MOBE. I just think it's funny when whiners and complainers put on holier-than-thou faces and talk about how they got "scammed". You didn't get scammed. You bought a product, received a product and then failed in your own business. Go get a job.

I bought into mobe and spent between $70,000 to $80,000 went to a titanium mastermind it was selling other products to you, like the mentorship but no real education on setting up your business. I only made $3,300 but no real sales all were we sell good traffic. Out of some 52 sales of $49 the sales team only closed 1 sale for $1,250 nothing like what matt says in the ebook. I spent my whole savings that i saved for 15 years out of money and lostt it all. Everyone else got paid my coach always wanting me to spend more money and didn't help me at all. Matt didn't back up what he says. It's a scheme best in the bworld to line his pockets.

I got started in Mobe and my coaches started me out with the Patriot Funnel System that is actually the 21 Step Process. I have went to three live events Titanium Mastermind, the Platinum Mastermind and a SuperCharge Summit all of which was only super sized sales pitches. I have over $40K invested in Mobe and have made less than $1200 in over two years. I was also promoting the Ultimate Retirement funnel which is the 21 step program. All the products and programs they sell leads to the 21 step program. They also promote a service that you buy leads that have bought the $49 introductory offer and you get the commission from the $49. I had done this twice and the refund rate is high and the $49 buyers went no further. I wish I had not went so deep but I did and now regretting it. If there is anyway to get a refund or partial refund it would be great. Will not try anything like this anymore.

Other than the MTTB training program ($49), the Silver MasterClass, membership set me back $2,497. An then there was the monthly membership fees ($19.95/month) and inner circle membership ($27/month). Add to that website and advertising fees. All I'm interested in is getting a refund. Will we ever get it? If so, who do i contact? Thanks

This has been a complete nightmare for my family since shortly after MOBE received our investment into there co. My husband and I attended a HBS work shop last summer. The sales pitch was strong and many lies were told and what isn't a direct certain lie is a huge exaggeration of what the truth is. They push to have you sign on to the highest level possible, as this allows for the biggest commissions they say...so foolishly we went all in as a Diamond member. They say they teach and support...well, we invested $61,000. approx. to be a Diamond affiliate (initially) and the level of service and education for that type of investment was a complete joke. If you want something close to the level of training and support they promise you must invest more money for a mentor. They say the average person with no computer skills can work the system easy with only 1-2 hrs a day....well let me tell you, that is not at all possible. We've spent months trying to get our money back from MOBE, months trying to make their system work as they said it would, as that is the only way we felt we had even a chance to recoup our investment. We spent thousands of dollars advertising their business. See, the systems isn't ethical at best, in our opinion anyway. The only way to recoup our investment was to screw other people over as we felt we'd been. It made be sick to my stomach really. Yes, there is "business education", as they call it, the education I received is that we made a very poor investment and one of the stupidest decisions of our lives. The only one I could see benefitting was Matt Lloyd (Mathew Lloyd McPhee). This situation has forced us to sell our home to pay off all the credit card bills we've occurred, as well as seek additional employment. I can say, I respect that some believe in this system. I for one do not. I've tried. I committed in good faith more that my family's savings and hours upon hours of time. Please...do not allow this company to operate and rip off more good, hard working people than they already have with their deceptive business practices. Had the truth been told at the HBS we would have never invested in MOBE.

Hi I respect the law but my question is this only the option .If you (FTC) is responsible for money than Shute down MOBE otherwise find the other way also .only people complain who need easy money. They do not do anything and want to easy life to invest some money and blame to others. If you see problem just to fix it and let it go.Not every one success in their life it’s totally depend how hard he work.

I also am over $86,000,00 in debt as I thought that THIS was a legitimate was to build income for My retirement. The Testimonials, attending the Masterminds, I was convinced despite BOTH Traffic Coaches and MOBE Masterminds continually requiring me to spend at least $10,000.00 each time I attended a MasterMind Seminar! I an VERY disheartened to find that the FTC is now investigation MOBE. I have been trying to reach mobe, and I get NO FEEDBACK. NONE of the phone numbers or WEB Links work. Time will tell id Matt Lloyd is truly legit in his clam that this IS a Legitimate Business EnterPrise.

I am torn. I have read almost all postings so I will refrain from explaining and revealing all that I have had to endure since I joined the MOBE marketing system in 2015. There are PRO and CON to this system and are trues and shady implications to double talk and out ted misleading statements. I really had know desire to be or to become a millionaire. I simply wanted to earn a 100-200K/years commission. I was told to get positioned right (Diamond), get you Online Sale Machine OSM funnel built and after released to you, your task is to drive quality paid traffic to its front end. I went through a 10 day effort to get my OSM funnel built at the Diamond Jamaica Mastermind in March 2016 and did not get my funnel working and released until October 2016. Driving thousands of dollars of traffic to my OSM funnel failed to result in the expected commission earnings on the backend. Interaction with buyers and those going through 21 Step program time and time again was a decision each of the consultants were free to do in an effort to boost sales to top earner status. Those of us who are not the type to talk directly to the buyers or are not camera comfortable or video webinar types do not be discouraged just continue to drive quality traffic to your funnel and you will earn at least a moderate income 100K PLUS. I was frustrated with the traffic coaching because I had one I was working with and then abruptly paired with another. The first few sessions with the new coach were burnt getting up to speed with the new coach and vise versa. After the masterminds and the Super chargers, why am I made to feel I still do not know all that is required to promote and make money. Now I need to give up 15-$25,000 for the "secrets" revealed by mentor-ship program. My decision is driven by number and the level work I know personally have put into this. $90,000 to date Earned net $3600 to date. I am ready for a refund.

I will be 65 this year and the thought of having dreams come true was a great incentive. From the very first day, it sounded great. There would be people there to guide you along, but the people only pushed the idea that spending more will give you more. I had a husband and wife team that even helped with getting me finances so I could move up after I had begun to hit my savings. We skyped about every other day, but there was no training, just the question of how the financing is doing. Once I moved to the next level, I got moved to an advertising coach. He was probably the closest I could call a coach. He did show me things, but nothing worked until I spent $2400 for advertising through Mobe. I did make $440 off of this venture, but he knew that was the way to go and urged me to buy more "leads" through Mobe. My credit has gone from great to stinks and had to get another job to pay creditors. I have put in almost $35000 into Mobe, and all they want is more. There are trainings on a resort that Matt Lloyd created in Costa Rica, sure the stay is free, but how do I get there. If you want their monthly guidence magazine, it's $199/month per level. My golden years have become a cry for help. I once sent a letter to Matt about my experience and the situation I was in. I NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE from anyone even though it said he answered all correspondence. From that moment, I feared the worse and would be happy to testify for other seniors that get hooked into a wonderful future.

I had purchased into the Titanium just about 2 months ago- after being told that I would not make any money starting at Gold in which I felt comfortable at- they had me go sit in a corner at a live event to see where I was going to get the money from and the pros and cons of not doing this after telling them i just lost money in another business and at my age could not afford to put alot of money into it, I totally did not listen to my gut feeling. My first coach was ok -she needed to get the rest of the money from me to pay for the balance of Titanium, the content of all of that was basically for you to upgrade -so not too much taught there, the traffic training was ok if you have the time to put into it but that is where the pressure was put on- I really got not much help from the traffic coach which i paid for- all she wanted to do is selling me something else and I assume because i did not want things done for me bc of extra money -i barley got any help- to me that's a scheme in itself- I paid (included in the titanium) for someone to help me and then they want more money from me to actually help me- that is bogus crap.

Life hit me with a curve ball and I found myself in a need to supplement my income and looked for the first time ever to find a solution on line. I expressed interest in MOBE in September 2017 and was up and running as a Titanium affiliate by December 2017 From the start MOBE was a CHALLENGE. I’ve read all the stories of how other people started and how well they did on this Blog. I unfortunately did not have anywhere as near as GREAT a story to tell. I did the 21 Steps diligently. I listened to MATT LLOYD who was uber convincing and cunningly smart. But to be fair the thought of being as successful was so inviting. I joined on my own free will. I paid the ALL that was asked freely and remembering MATT LLOYD saying WHEN DIGGING FOR GOLD DON’T ASK THE PRICE OF THE SHOVEL. 1. Coach was great and with his encouragement I proceeded to Silver/Gold 2. Coach the perfect salesman. He was to the point about leaving money on the table. He NEVER had a smile in his voice. He was a MATT LLOYD henchman. Recruited personally by MATT LLOYD himself. When I opted for Titanium he said ..”do you want you sponsor to get rich because that what is going to happen”. I said that will have to be until I can up scale. What he did not want to tell me that MATT LLOYD was my sponsor. I found that out consequently. The word slime comes to mind here. 3. Traffic Coach…where do I begin. USELESS USELESS USELESS..LETS STOP THERE. The traffic coach handpicked by MATT LLOYD was most uninformed I taught myself using videos on line on how to place ads on Facebook. Actually I still have no idea why I had a traffic coach who had another job and made it clear I was in his way. Because I’d spent so much to get started I decided to attend a Supercharge Summit in Singapore in January 2018. Having not made a dime. The SC Summit is sold a s the perfect way to get going. What had I to loose. Invest in yourself MATT LLOYD WOULD SAY. In Singapore I met truly amazing successful people who are all now on the other side of my fence. Most of them are waiting for MATT LLOYD to come back BIGGER AND BETTER. I met an ICU nurse who claimed to be computer illiterate but made a lake of money…I met a lovely couple with special needs children who made a truck load of money ..I met beautiful ..lovely ladies who made truly eye watering amounts of money…yay I thought I made the right choice being here…three days of getting amazing advice. I got some photos with successful people with a giant copy of a cheque showing how much they made…I was sold on whole idea… until I went to the mentorship stage and realise I was not very welcome if I did not invest $25K in a mentorship programme…$125K would get me a mentor who will spend 10 days in my house…that was a put off…then I realised I was on my own and what speaks about in the 21 steps in a load of BS. Supercharge summit is a glorified mentorship sales pitch. Nice one MATT LLOYD. I persisted because I need to recoup what I’d invested so far. I advertised and advertised and even attempted IMF when you the FTC shut MOBE down. I realised I needed one of those fancy funnels that get all done for you with a mentor and at Diamond stage. MATT LLOYD this is to you personally…In your book LIMITLESS…you thank your parents for the ethics they instilled in you. You even said your dad will put 20 year olds to shame. Your parents are honest to the bone sheep and wheat farmers and I don’t think they EVER did a crooked deal in their lives. Farmers are amazing honest PILLARS of society. Mmmmm MATT LLOYD. Mmmmm You knew that the FTC was on your case investigating MOBE..yet still you enticed us to advertise your BABY as you call it. This BABY now has a LOADED SOILED nappy...even more I read people are so distressed some are contemplating suicide…OHHH what a badly brought up child. Why does the phrase WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING come to mind? I don't know! FTC I would like to get a refund of the $39K I spent in total please. I had every intention of succeeding. Until the day you shut MOBE down I was TRYING so hard. For all the supporters of MOBE waiting for business as usual so you can get your rings and cars and unpaid commissions., good on you, you deserve it and MATT LLOYD will support you all the way. You are the ones who make it big and made him big. Well done to you. MATT LLOYD had you under his radar. But please do not express disgust at my asking for a refund and spending so little compared to you. I need to move on. Lesson learned sadly.

I have been part of MOBE for almost 4 years now. I am writing to you today to share with you my journey and the amazing impact MOBE has had on me and my family. 3 years ago, when I started looking for alternative sources of income I came across a dozen opportunities. On evaluating all, I decided to go with MOBE particularly because MOBE was fully refundable and stood behind their product. This gave me the comfort to move forward. Just like many I was skeptical. I heard about the possibilities, but being new to the industry, I doubted my abilities. Working with MOBE's team gave me clarity, confidence and helped me jumpstart my business. Initially I was not diligent with the course material I purchased and did not see results. On meeting Matt at one of the events, he insisted on following the program. When I did as asked, I not only picked momentum and began to implement all I was learning, I quickly also started to see results. Both my husband and I have been in corporate jobs and have been part of several layoffs. It has not been easy to get back our feet in some cases. Every time we got a new job, there was this little voice in our head’s telling us that nothing is certain. MOBE has been a game changer for my husband, myself and our family. We would have never ever dreamt of leveraging the digital space to conduct business, but MOBE made that possible for us. We not only learnt the skills required, but we also met some incredible people, some of who are amazing friends today. But more than anything MOBE provided for us a community of like-minded enthusiastic, encouraging and supportive people with Matt at the helm of it. Matt’s values, his sincerity and his passion was seen in his team and I am ever so grateful for meeting them. MOBE’s entire team and community have always emphasized that if we put the effort and did the things that were taught, there was no reason why we would not be able to make a success with it. Being involved with MOBE has been the best thing that has happened to us. The skills we learnt are so portable and valuable that I have been able to utilize it to generate multiple income streams. Today I work with small local businesses helping them grown their clients. They are good at what they do and are delighted that I can assist them to grow and scale their business. All of this would not have been possible without what I learned from MOBE. I have always wanted to teach. With the knowledge I gained from MOBE, today I also teach social media management and advertising and get paid for it. Yet again something that would not have been possible without MOBE. MOBE has not only impacted me professionally, it has been a great influencer in helping me develop as a person. I have grown in knowledge, I have grown to manage setbacks that business offers, I have grown to have a growth mindset and most of all I have learnt how to turn every situation into a positive one. What moves me more is that MOBE has indirectly impacted my kids. Today my 20 year old and my 16 year old have options before them. Options to be in a job or become an entrepreneur. They have seen the power of a positive mindset and have learnt the power of resilience. It is very disturbing that a handful of people who do not want to do the work have impacted hundreds who believe and who have benefitted from MOBE. We ourselves have benefited from MOBE’s training and know of many who feel the same. MOBE has been the reason many small businesses are surviving and it is the reason that ordinary people are learning to leverage the digital space to earn a living. MOBE has given birth to many young entrepreneurs and we fully support Matt's vision to making MOBE an international education platform. We respect the FTC and its obligation and by way of this letter I would like to plea that you reinstate MOBE. ....so people can live a life of options ....so employees can still dream to be entrepreneurs and hone new skills to monetize themselves. ….so thousands of students have the access to the education they purchased. ....so the community can grow and support those that are new to this industry. ....so many of us have a platform to share our journey and how we have found purpose.

My husband and I ran across the 21 steps. We thought that the whole program would teach us to work on the internet. He started out with an 813 credit score and is now at 576. We thought between the courses, coaching, and masterminds that we were in a good spot. The WSGT was a waste along with the clicks... We just kept getting shuffled around when we tried to resolve this... we could not get our money back either. We have been financially and emotionally drained and now buried in debt. We really need our money back too. They owe us $71,056. We have never been easily gullible but it really seemed like something that would help us be better internet marketers... I hope they can resolve this case.

I purchased up to Platinum with a loss of about 30,000 (not exact amount, but there about). The only reason why I joined was to have funds for my other business to flourish. Instead of spending the time and money trying to start nd save my first business, of which I had a passion for, I thought it would be a good idea to spend time and money on mobe as that would help with an ongoing support of additional income to pay for my ideal first business. I ended up with loosing my main dream (business), which devastated me, and then, I have been desperate to fund my new one to follow on, but I can not even get it started as am totally skint after giving mobe a lot of my much needed money. I can not find even a penny for any of the investment and work that I need for my other business. If I could have my money back from mobe, then I could get my other dream business up and running. So hard up now that I have food from food banks, no electricity as it has been cut off, no laptop as too old to work now, no car as can not afford it and so on.... and mobe has 30,000 of my money and are multi millionaires!!! I believe they could so easily repay my money to me. I earned zero from them. When I first began with mobe they tell you to reach out to your coach, but I had no coaching, just sales talk to encourage you to upgrade... I was so desperate to save my other business and to be able to begin to live my life before too old that I really wanted to believe in mobe. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE SEND ME INFORMATION ON HOW WE CAN GET OUR MONEY BACK, IN FULL?!!! I am British citizen, not USA...

MOBE had referred me to Sprout Financial for funding. Sprout opened many credit card accounts in my name and charged me 9.9% in fees. Obviously both companies were business partners. Can Sprout be sued? Can I dispute those charges?

I used caution because it sounded too good, but I still got takin' for around 3000 or more and I wanted a refund but I had to wait a year which is july 2018. Also had to advertise and try and make it work, well I did all that and now I can't get my refund because they not there anymore. what a scam. Is there anyway we can get our money back from them? Please if there is anyway to get a refund, let me know. thank you.

I'm curious how people can say 'they owe me' or 'they took $___ from me'... Are we not each responsible for our own actions, decisions, buying decisions, lives?! When you pay to go to University to get an Education, training, learning on a Subject, you are learning new skills to go out into the world & use to make your way in the world. Is the University blamed or a 'fraud/scam' if you can't get a job in your industry? Of course not! It's up to YOU what you do with what you learn! There's a reason less than 3% of our population are successful as Entrepreneurs. They are the ones that take personal responsibility & do not give up! If more people did that, none of this would even be happening! I used the training from MOBE to build 2 successful businesses & it has been worth every penny. The only difference between myself & the rest of people who are calling themselves victims is that I went out & used what I learned to achieve Success! It was not overnight, I had to work for it, but I couldn't have done it without MOBE!

I haven't been with MOBE long, but I think they are a very good company. I learned a lot for the time that I was able to access my 21 steps program. I seen many success stories, so that means that the ones that are complaining wasn't doing anything with what they invested into. The problem is nothing is free and what ever it is that your doing, you will only get what you put into it . I believe they were honest about what they said, after you finish the 3rd step they send you a book limitless. I received mine a few days after. Honestly people are seeing the growth and want to pull others down with them because there not succeeding. Some people want everything to fall in there lap and if it doesn't come the way they think it should, they have a pity party. Everyone that believes in MOBE and that is affiliated with them keep your head up, stay encouraged. This is not the end.

I was just informed that no refunds of any kind from MOBE would be dispersed for 2 years. This is not fair for the ones (like myself) who have not been in MOBE long enough to even promote and make their money back. I have a family and was relying on MOBE for income. Now I am out $4,000 and struggling. The courts should order refunds for everyone who has asked for one back ASAP. So everyone can go on with their lives. Please consider refunding us ASAP? Don't make us wait please?

Has anything been finalised yet or is Matt still living the rich life?! So sad reading through some of these stories, knowing I was told all the same things as these people, but fortunately, only lost $690. About 2 months ago nearly put $4020 into it for silver/gold - but something was holding me back - probably the hard sell from my 'coach' . Thank goodness for that something. And was never inspired by those millionaire videos, was more interested in finding or viewing people who had 'made money' from the silver level, but no one was interested in pointing me in the right direction for those. Oh. They didn't exist. To all those who have been drawn in by all the lies. promises and the deceitful 'coaching', I am so sorry. I hope things sort for you very quickly.

I had excellent credit til I got involved in Mobe. I started in 2016. Spent thousands of dollars. Didnt make a dime. Besides the 30grand, Mobe charged you a fee for the service they never done. My Credit has gone to the trash. Mobe is just putting people in debt. If you already have great credit, why would they think that I need their help, to get a credit card? Then they charge you 2,500.00 for their service. Are you kidding me? I have 3 credit cards maxed out. I think the Coaches should be charged also. They know dam well you don't need help if you have excellent credit. I work paycheck to paycheck, and I'm struggling huge. Need to refi. Can I get my own lawyer? Actually I've been thinking about that for awhile now. I could go on and on. What good will it do me.

I / We lost at least $14k. After I wired the money I think 3 weeks later I heard that FTC shuts them down. To be honest even if they come back or FTC says they're good to go I don't feel comfortable advertising cause they're gonna have a negative impact. I just want my money back.

I also got taken by MOBE, I was so excited when I saw the video training I fell hook line and sinker. I am not a person that reads so I was really impressed with the video training. Granted I did learn alot from the videos, was so impressed I fell for the Silver/Gold Training. 2900.00 US. That cost me about 3400.00CDN. Onto finish my 21 steps, change of coaches till the end. Go sucked into going Titanium and Platinum. Which worked out to be another 38000.00CDN. When I finished the 21 steps I was put onto another coach and she talked me into buying the We Sell Good Traffic so guess what that was another 4500.00CDN for that. I must say I managed to get 1100.00 CDN return. The was the extend of my big money making. I spent a lot of money on advertising and solo ads and got no return on any of it. I agree that some of the top earners of MOBE should also be charged because they promised help any time, what they did not tell you that is would cost you more big bucks to get there help. They get you to spend money to fly to there resorts at which point they keep shoving expensive help at you, telling you that the only way you will get your money returned is to buy into the top level programs. Which I did not by any further then platinum thank god. I did not have another 30000.00 to do that. Basically when I total it all up I am probably out close to 80000.00 CDN. Which I will never see back. I am glad they stopped them. I would like to file a claim but not finding where to do this at. Hopefully some one will answer.

I trusted over $15000us and Im from Canada of my savings into this company because I was trying to stay home and look after my elderly parents. I understand you take chances but when the chance becomes someone elses easy streak that doesn't sit well with me. I followed everything that they taught me and I still didn't earn a thing. Now Im trying to find some other work to pay back the $22500 plus my bills, I haven't been doing this for a year so I think that I should be paid back, Matt if you are the true person that you say you are give back the people there money!!!

You can report your experience with MOBE to the FTC at FTC.gov/Complaint. The information you give will go into a secure database that the FTC and other law enforcement agencies use for investigations.

The comments you put here on the blog don’t go into the law enforcement database.

I am in about $60,000. I never received any of the material I was promised. I never received any training after the Steps. I kept emailing my coach and never heard anything further. I called MOBE when they were still open and I was told that I had to email them to get my money back. I have a thread of emails that I sent them and I never heard back from them. I am so upset because I used my retirement money for this and NEVER received anything I was promised. Surely, there has to be something the FTC can do to ensure that we all get our money back. Matt is a very wealthy man and can liquidate his assets to pay back all the people he scammed. It's truly disgusting what he has done!!!!

I got hooked onto MOBE in February 2018. It was so enticing. Start out with a small investment and then as you go along, you realize just to make some money, the largest of the investment. After taking a long look at the complaint by the FTC, I realized I was blinded by the allurement of making a lot of money in not too long of a period of time. My wife and I invested over $11k. We got ourselves into a monumental amount of credit card debt thinking at some point we might be able to work out of it thru MOBE. But not so, I was continually "encouraged" to go to next level. I am satisfied that the FTC has taken action.

My Story in MOBE My name is Laura Valagussa, I live in a small village close to Milan and I'd like to shortly talk about my experience with Mobe.I am 48 years old, I’m a director in multinational company and I dtrongly believe in passive income from on line. I started working as a networker. I was sure I would have rock bringing all the sells process online but I realized I still didn't have the right skills to do that successfully... In that moment of my life, I knew Mobe.It turned out to be the Greatest Online Company I have ever deal with! Thanks to Mobe I started learning the secret of a successful Business... I was studying, reading, getting inspired by people who already had big results and, the most important thing: finally I was completely setting my Mind to become a Real Entrepreneur. With me, there was my personal Coach, his assistants, my Italian Mentor and, of course, Matt Lloyd. I admire him for his concreteness, lealty, coherence, preparation, courage... and now I really miss him so much. I am a Platinum consultant and I was studying my Program in order to start working seriously in the World of Affiliate Marketing - that would have open all the doors to my future projects. Thanks so Mobe I started to Dream Big! I already had commission for more than 3000 $ (not received due to some problem with my ewallet account) I started to plan my Future, my Goals and the details of my Entrepreneur Life. According to my opinion, I can definitely say that Everyone in the World should deal with a Company as Mobe: it helps to grow up in the personal sphere and in the professional too. I stand for Matt and Mobe: they positively changed my life and I want them Back!! Sincerely Laura Valagussa

I invested in MOBE in 2016 and I also invested in the 100K mentorship program. Because of the training I got from MOBE I am now able to market any product, service or business. I ask you HOW is that kind of education considered a scam? I am very grateful to Matt Lloyd for the opportunity he gave me and many others. And for those who say they didn't make any money I say to you it's because you didn't work it. End of story! No one ever told me I could sit back and watch the money fly in. No one ever made promises of income potential to me. I went into MOBE because I wanted to do business when and where ever I was. Now the only ones who are going to make the money from fines, etc is the F.T.C. Now THAT's a scam!

Susan, seriously? After everything the FTC has shown and after all these comments from hundreds who got ripped off you're still not sure how it's a scam? Let me break it down for you. It's real simple. MOBE was a scam because: 1 - It made outlandish promises which came nowhere close to reality. 2 - The only people who made money did so by bringing others into the program - the very definition of a pyramid scheme. 3 - They offered, in person and in some of their advertising which screenshots have been shown of, a full money back guarantee, but then refused to honor it, citing language hidden in the terms and conditions. The ONLY way anyone can fail to see how this operation is a scam is if they themselves are the ones ripping others off!
